Halitosis refers to the microscopic uneven surface of the tongue that can entrap bacteria which can produce foul smells or odors, causing bad breath problems. The colloquial term of Halitosis is bad breath; it is highly embarrassing and, in few cases, it may cause anxiety.
We always use gum, mints, and mouthwashes to cope with mouth odor or Halitosis, but it is just a temporary solution; as these components are unable to eradicate this problem, the bacteria remain on the tongue and create odor repetitively.
