What is Cirrhosis? How Do I Know If I Have It?

Many people who are suffering from this disease may not be aware of what exactly is cirrhosis. The common misconception is that if you are living with cirrhosis, it means that you have a serious condition and that you will have to be on a long term of therapy for the rest of your life.

That is not true! Cirrhosis is a non-cancerous condition that can be treated in a number of ways. Well, there is no specific cause of this old condition and there is no known cause for cirrhosis. There are some theories that mention that alcohol abuse is one cause of this disorder.

Another one is cigarette smoking and use of cigarettes. These two can cause liver damage. Some other causes of cirrhosis are poor diet, alcoholism, steroids and pregnancy. The most common causes of cirrhosis are from drinking too much alcohol and excessive consumption of alcohol.

There is another kind of cirrhosis, that is called sepsis

The sepsis is physiologically viewed as a proinflammatory and procoagulant response to invading pathogens. There are 3 recognized stages in the inflammatory response with progressively increased risk of end‐organ failure and death: sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock.

A patients with cirrhosis are prone to develop sepsis, sepsis‐induced organ failure, and death. There is evidence that in cirrhosis, sepsis is accompanied by a markedly imbalanced cytokine response (“cytokine storm”), which converts responses that are normally beneficial for fighting infections into excessive, damaging inflammation.

The molecular mechanisms for this excessive proinflammatory response are poorly understood. In patients with cirrhosis and severe sepsis, high production of proinflammatory cytokines seems to play a role in the worsening of liver function and the development of organ/system failures such as shock, renal failure, acute lung injury or acute respiratory distress syndrome, coagulopathy, or hepatic encephalopathy. Sepsis occurs when an infection in the organ of the body will set off cirrhosis of the liver. In addition to this, there is also a medication that can be given to control the symptoms of the disease and prevent it from getting worse, this is called Metformin which works as a lifestyle factor. It is taken by mouth and works by reducing the weight of the liver.

There are a number of medications that can be used as well. However, it is also important to know that if the cirrhosis gets worse and the patient cannot take the medications they can get treatment. If the patient cannot take the medications, it is always better to take it off the list. This means that there are ways to prevent cirrhosis.

Is Herbal Supplements Really Effective For Cirrhosis?

People who are diagnosed with cirrhosis will usually be prescribed anti-coagulants to prevent more blood from being lost. As more blood is lost, scar tissue begins to form around the liver. This scar tissue may block the flow of blood to other parts of the body and cause serious pain and other complications. Patients are also given aspirin to help lessen the pain.

One common side effect of these medications is that they can cause skin irritation, as it does to other liver disorders, which can lead to blistering. Because of this, some patients are avoiding these medications and have used herbal remedies instead.

Herbal dietary supplements have been shown to be just as effective as those used in traditional medicine and to have fewer side effects. However, a patient should be careful to take only the highest quality products.

Alcoholic beverages are the most common reason for people to become afflicted with cirrhosis. People who drink excessively are known to become depressed and to feel despair. They often feel hopeless about their future and seek comfort by alcohol.

Alcoholism also is known to lead to liver failure. Alcoholics often develop cirrhosis when their liver has difficulty fighting off infection caused by alcohol. When cirrhosis has progressed far enough, it can be fatal.

The body needs alcohol to digest food properly, which in turn is the main reason why the liver is able to work. However, if the liver cannot work properly, the liver’s job is to filter out toxins and other chemicals that can cause damage to the internal organs. When the liver cannot do its job properly, the organs can suffer damage as well, which is why they become damaged from heavy drinking.

The liver itself is susceptible to damage and in the end, a person with cirrhosis will experience a number of symptoms including high intake of alcohol and symptoms of depression and lethargy. It is quite possible that the liver can even fail completely if the process goes on for too long.

For these reasons, herbal supplements are often used as a replacement for alcohol. If you are concerned about using herbal remedies, you should discuss this with your doctor.

There are many different herbal supplements available on the market

However, the best supplements for cirrhosis should be full of vitamins and antioxidants. These supplements should also contain a healthy dose of

To be effective, herbal supplements should be taken daily. These supplements should be combined with a healthy diet and lifestyle. While this sounds like a lot of work, the benefits of this herbal approach can be enormous.

This approach not only reduces the effects of the disease but also has an overall effect on the entire body, especially the immune system. Since the immune system is one of the organs damaged by cirrhosis, this approach has a greater impact on the entire body.

If you are trying to lose weight or you simply want to make other changes in your life, it might be time to consider taking herbal supplements. Though they may cost a little more than traditional medications, they have fewer side effects and can be very effective in helping people lead healthier lives.
