Malaria is caused by malaria parasites that live in the blood of an infected person. When you have malaria, you will receive a few symptoms: Red spots or blisters on your skin that look like sunburns. You might also have other mild symptoms such as fever, muscle pain, vomiting and diarrhea. The initial symptoms of malaria generally resemble the flu.

These are just the early symptoms of malaria, which occur in about 7 to 21 days after your first mosquito bite. Malaria is a serious disease and if left untreated, it can cause severe disability. The traditional treatment for malaria is based on the belief that these symptoms of malaria will disappear within one to two weeks.

This belief has been greatly discouraged and has changed in recent years

Malaria treatment now includes more advanced treatments that have been found to help a lot more than traditional remedies. In tropical countries such as those in Africa, Asia and Latin America, malaria is a very common problem. Malaria is especially prevalent in these regions because these are places where mosquitoes breed at high levels.

In addition, many of these areas are located close to where humans live or are frequently visited by people. Most of the people who live in tropical countries have to deal with the symptoms of malaria for a long time. Traditional malaria treatment consists of taking medications that fight the malaria parasites and providing pain relief.

These medications have to be taken for a long time. This way, they help prevent #malaria parasites from multiplying too fast. Malaria can lead to other complications in the future. Fortunately, there are other alternative malaria treatment methods that can effectively treat malaria infections.

Alternative methods are commonly used in developed countries where there is a need for the use of drugs which are not available. In other words, there are fewer chances that an infected person will be infected with another parasitic infection

Alternative malaria treatment methods that are used in developed countries include using natural materials like tea tree oil and vinegar. to soothe the symptoms of malaria and reduce pain caused by the bites of mosquitoes. There are also some alternative medications that contain plant extracts like

  • Garlic
  • Wormwood
  • Cumin
  • Wormwood extract
  • Borax (Sodium Tetraborate)
  • Aloe vera which is known to kill mosquitoes and prevent the parasites from multiplying

Homeopathic treatments which are usually effective against malaria are those that contain anti-parasitic and anti-fungal properties. They are administered topically. The herbs that are used in these homeopathic treatments are usually made from plants that are native to Asia and South America. Most of them are made from decoctions that contain ingredients like

  • Eucalyptus
  • Hyoscyamus niger (Henbane, Black henbane or Stinking nightshade)
  • Basil
  • Menthol
  • Myrrh

A very effective alternative medication against malaria is that of vinegar. Vinaigrette is a good substitute for vinegar as it contains antiseptic property. Vinaigrette has been used to treat many ailments including diarrhea. Other natural ingredients that can effectively fight the malaria parasites include

  • Ginger
  • Black cohosh
  • Rosemary

Another effective natural cure against malaria is that of eating garlic. Garlic is an excellent antifungal that works by killing the parasite. Garlic is especially useful in treating malaria because of its alkalizing effect. Drinking tea is also recommended to alleviate the symptoms of malaria. However, drinking tea should be done with a glass of water.

Drinking too much tea can make symptoms of malaria more severe. Taking care of oneself and taking proper diet is essential in avoiding malaria. It is important to keep away from parasites as much as possible. Avoiding mosquitoes is very important. One can also practice the prevention of malaria with the help of other natural ways.

Natural Treatment for Resistance Malaria

Resistance malaria is a term used to describe the ability of certain species of mosquitoes, known as vector mosquitoes to withstand infection by the malaria parasite. In general, there are four major classifications of mosquitoes:

  • Aegypti (Yellow fever mosquito)
  • Plutellidae (Diamondback Moths)
  • Anopheles (Marsh Mosquitoes)
  • Culicidae

Each species of mosquito has a different degree of resistance to infection with this parasite. Resistant mosquitoes are the type that cannot be controlled by chemical pesticides. However, they are not totally immune to #malaria and are often infected again. If you want to prevent mosquitoes from transmitting malaria, then you need to kill them before they bite someone.

The first step in preventing vector mosquitoes from transmitting the disease is to reduce their numbers

This is done by spraying insecticides around water supplies and using nets or insect screens to trap mosquitoes in places where they feed. However, when the number of vector mosquitoes is very low, it is difficult to control them with insecticides.

They have evolved into another form of a mosquito, which can survive on blood. The only effective way to keep them at bay is to use baits to catch their blood. Bait is prepared from dried grass clippings or leaves.

It should be made up from an insecticide, a coating agent and an anti-parasitic. The insecticide should be applied in sufficient amounts so that the mosquitoes are unable to feed on it. However, if they do bite the bait, the anti-parasitic helps to kill them.

Once the coating agent has been used successfully, the mosquito should be removed. The antifungal should then be removed from the bait. The bait is then used to catch more mosquitoes. If the process is repeated often, the #mosquito population can be controlled and the disease stopped.

However, in some areas, the presence of a vector mosquito has made these insecticides ineffective. The vector mosquito is more resistant to the insecticides than other species of mosquitoes and so a combination of insecticides may not be enough to combat them.

Resistant malaria can be treated with chemicals and methods such as hand-held aerosols which disperse insecticides throughout the area affected. However, it is not possible to completely get rid of them.

Mosquitoes breed in moist and dark areas. Thus, insecticides cannot always reach every part of the region, even though they target the mosquitoes which are feeding on the insecticide that was used to control them.

The only method which uses chemicals to get rid of these mosquitoes is called the aerosol treatment

But there is a problem with this method. The chemicals used can also spread to surrounding areas and can affect the people living in these areas. If the person who sprayed the chemicals lives nearby, they may suffer from breathing problems and other health problems.

The aerosol spray has a certain amount of safety. If the mosquito bites someone who breathes through the spray, then the substance will enter the body but will not be inhaled. It cannot harm people who are in the immediate vicinity.

A safer and less risky way is the use of foggers. Foggers work by releasing a fog which causes a thick mist so that the mosquitoes are unable to fly. The mist attracts the mosquitoes’ attention, thus making them move out of the area.

Foggers are very expensive and are quite toxic, though. If used in conjunction with the insecticides used to prevent them from breeding, they work very effectively. Traditional medicine is also another option, but it is expensive and often results in side effects.

The most common side effect of traditional medicine is nausea and vomiting. This can occur if people drink the medicine or eat the foods meant for malaria treatment which contain the medicine. The best option for getting rid of these mosquitoes is using alternative medicine.

These include natural methods, such as coconut oil, which have been known to prevent mosquitoes from breeding. They also increase the supply of blood supply to the infected area. Some people prefer to use natural remedies. They believe that traditional medicine is dangerous and often do not work and that natural methods are much safer.
