Normally a person will notice that their urine appears darker, has a foul odor and that it has a lower volume when they urinate. In some cases, the liquid may turn out to be slightly thicker than it was previously.
When a person has one of these symptoms, they should definitely see a doctor as they could be suffering from a more serious condition such as a kidney infection or other problems.

It is best to replace the lost fluids with low calorie, high nutritional drinks which can prevent dehydration. When choosing a drink, it is important to find one that contains electrolytes such as that of erythritol and other natural sugars.
Another thing to consider with warning signs of dehydration is the use of coolers. While living in an area where there is a hot weather, especially in the summer months, it is very easy to forget about drinking enough fluid.
If you know that you will be participating in a sports event, it is always best to bring along a bottle of water to replenish yourself as soon as the event begins.
It is also important to realize that dehydration is not only a physical problem but a mental problem as well and may develop into something more serious such as lapsing into depression as well as panic attacks.
